Instructions:
Paint box with acrylic paints. Dry completely. Add strips of patterned paper, cut outs, etc. to the box and adhere using Mod Podge to the backside of the paper ONLY. Using your acrylic stamps & handle and Staz-On ink you can rubber stamp your messages or designs on the box. Once you have added all of your stamping designs, cover entire box with Mod Podge. Once the Mod Podge is completely dry you can begin to add your embellishments. Some embellishments, that do not stick up too far, you might want to Mod Podge over to give them the added strength to stay in place. Use tacky tape to add the ribbon. For the Paper Mache, plastic or chipboard boxes, you can even punch holes to add eyelets, brads or hang charms from.
Design your mini boxes the same way you did you large box. If you opt to use the paper sacks, you can use glue dots to adhere paper décor or embellishments. Stamp your designs on each bag. Use a paper punch to punch a hole in the center of one side of the bag, cover with plastic film for a “windowed” bag.
Once you have finished all the mini boxes or bags fill them with your 14 surprise items and place everything in your large box. You are now ready to celebrate each day leading up to Valentine’s day!
