Creative Window Wells

Looking out the window will never be as much fun as the one you created!!!
Supplies:
· Spray paint (In door out door)
· Making Memories paint we have lots of fun colors to choose from
· Paint pens
· Sea sponge
· Rocks
· Sea shells
· Stencils
· Daubers
· Your favorite paint brushes
· Varnish sealer
· E-6000
· Glue sticks (any permanent one will work)

Instructions:
1. First you have to wash and dry your window well I had the bug guy come spray so I didn’t have any spiders
2. Then once you’ve decided what you want your window well to look like I went to Roberts and choose some fun stencils and the colors of spray paint and paint that I wanted to paint my sean
3. We have lots of great vibrant colors to choose from the only tip you need to remember is we will seal the window well after so it doesn’t come off with the weather so pretty much any of the acyclic paint will work
4. I wear a mask when I’m out in the window well the fumes of the spray paint wont be as bad
5. Tape your window so the spray paint doesn’t get all over it
6. Now its time to climb into the well and start drawing (I put a old chair in their to sit on it made it easier for me)
7. With the paint pen I took my stencils and traced the fish on to the well remember when your tracing the fish it doesn’t have to be perfect you just need a outline your going to paint inside the lines
8. Also you can cut what you want from the cricket and make your own stencil
9. When your painting on metal it dries really fast this is great because you’ll need to paint a few coats
10. Now that you have all the base coats done on your sean its time to shade, float stipple, use your paint pens and embellish any way you’d like
11. After I was done and it looked the way I liked I sprayed the whole thing with a sealer after all that work I want it to stay
12. For the bottom of the well where all the dirt and rocks are there are a few options that you can do
· Paint the rocks
· Add plants
· Sea shells look great in my ocean window well
· Moss and flowers

13. I know your thinking that this makes it easier for spiders and little bugs to hide but really you’ve made a forest for the ones that would live their anyways unless you have the bug guy come like I do
14. And for years to come you and your family will have a fun thing to look at that you created because you know
