These boxes are great for organizing! This one is made into a portable Art Kit perfect for traveling! Put a handle on it for easy carrying. The lid keeps everything in and can be used as a desktop in the car! You can Velcro a plastic folder on the back to hold more paper. They fit in most drawers – bathroom, kitchen, or office. Or, just set it on top of a desk to organize all of those desk supplies.

Supplies:

Organizer
Spray Paint (so many colors! I used Krylon Banner Red 02108)
Assorted paper
Assorted Alphabet Stickers (I used American Craft Sarah Script 04132)
Cricut
Jewels
8 ½ x 11 Plastic Folder 62109
Velcro
Modge Podge
Adhesive – Tacky Tape
Ribbon

Directions:

1. Take out the dividers. Spray paint the entire box and dividers.– don’t worry about over spraying anywhere. You will be covering up the bottom of the box with paper.
2. Once it is dry decide where you want the dividers to go and put them in.
3. Measure each square and cut paper to size. Use an adhesive to put the paper in – I used Tacky Tape. Use different paper or all the same – have fun with this!
4. Cut out flowers with the Cricut
5. Put flowers on outside of box with Modge Podge. Cover the top of each flower with Modge Podge to avoid ripping the flower off with use. Don’t forget to embellish the lid!
6. Apply stickers. Add Jewels to flowers.
7. Drill 2 holes at the top of the box about 4 inches apart.
8. Thread a ribbon through each hole and tie a knot on the inside of the box. A cute and easy handle!
9. Take your Plastic Folder and apply two pieces of Velcro. Put this on the back of your box for paper storage.
10. If you are using it as a desktop organizer – Spray paint some large doll Head Knobs and glue to the bottom.
