ReplyDeleteI have one main goal for 2011 -- some "me" time. I was married at 16 and had 5 children. By the time my 5th child turned 18, I had a granddaughter (her Dad is another of the 5)and now have 3 more grandbabies. Although I love them more than words can say, my whole adult life had been about children and grandchildren. This year I need it to be about me. I know it sounds very selfish, but when you are 47 you realize time is getting shorter to do the things you want to get done.

I have a lot of goals this year:
ReplyDeleteI am working on my craft room, getting it organized and cleaned up so I can use it.
I would really like to spend more time with my family - my kids are all teens now and it seems we are all off in different directions and don't spend a lot of time together. At least 1 camping trip together is my goal.
I also want to get in a lot oil painting this year.
I want to figure out a way to slow the year down but with all my goals, somehow I think it is going to fly again :)
My goal, or focus for this year is "To live life to it's fullest, filled with gratitude, and a joyful heart!"

I am going to take baby steps to improve my overall health and weight. I have realized that trying to take on too much like that is a formula for failure for me, so I am going to take it slow and celebrate the small things!

I have so many but the first one is to spend as much time with my husband as possible loving him more each day. You just never know what 2morrow brings with health issues.

I didn't choose any New Years resolutions, but I did pick One Little Word for the year: Faith. I'm working on having more faith in myself and my work, as well as working on increasing my faith in God.
