Spot the Product

For today’s “Spot the Product” post, I wanted to talk about a small tool that is making a big impression on me.

The tool that I’m referring to is the Heart Attack distressing tool by We R Memory Keepers.

This is a little tool, but don’t let the size fool you, one swipe with this tool and you will be sold, just like I am.

The basics of the tool:
There is 3 pieces of sandpaper that has a sticky back on the back of the paper. That makes it so you can stick it to the tool. When the pieces of sandpaper are no longer sanding, peel off the sandpaper and attach another one to the tool. It's that easy!
2.
To To use the tool, you slip your finger into the holder and sand away. I find this tool works extremely well with the Core'dinations paper line that Roberts Crafts carries.
3.
There is a little blade in the top part of the heart that slides in and out, when you want to use it, just flip the switch and it comes out. You can use this little blade to scrape the edges of the paper. It gives your paper a distressed look. Have I already told you, I love this tool?

Now, for the example, I took a new line of Cuttlebug folders by Provo craft, and I placed them in the bottom half of a card that I made. I ran it through the Cuttlebug, and embossed the design on the card. I took off the folder, then used the Heart Attack tool and sanded off the top layer of the Core'dinations paper.

I have an American Crafts stamp set that I used for the greetings, then cut them out with the various punches.

Use pop dots to give the greetings dimension, and put a white liner in the card. Super easy! Super classy!

I hope you have a fun time playing around with you Heart Attack distresser. I’m off to play with mine.

Until then, Happy Crafting!
