Spot The Product - Buttons

For this weeks “Spot the product” project, I wanted to focus on something so basic, but comes in a whole lot of colors. Buttons!

Robert’s Crafts carries LOTS of buttons. There are buttons in the scrapbook section. Specifically in the Doodlebug design line. Lots of colors there! I like Doodlebug Design’s colors because they match perfectly with the eyelets, brads, glitter, stickers, paper and everything else that they carry. I love how everything coordinates together.

If you look at the buttons, I like how there are many shapes and sizes. I like how there are flowers, squares, circles, and different shades of the colors.

In the sewing section, you will notice that we have buttons in large quantities. They come in bags of solid colors. This is the way to go if you need a lot of buttons. I love this because there have been many times that
I wanted a lot of buttons to do a certain project and I needed a large amount. The price for a bag of buttons is a very reasonable price.

If you look at the example that I made with the Doodlebug Design buttons, you will notice the different shapes, colors, and sizes.

I used the new Provo Craft, Mother’s Day Bouquet seasonal cartridge. Cut out various flowers in 1 ½” and 1 ¾”.

I cut the flowers out of Basic Grey paper and strung a button on the center of the flower. I glued the flowers together, and stuck the button through the center and twisted the wire around itself.

I made 7 flowers, then twisted all of them together, and cut off the bottoms of the flowers. I shaped the flowers, and put a dab of glossy accents on the back of the flowers to keep them In place. I love how it turned out!

I hope you enjoy crafting with buttons, they have rapidly become one of my favorite staple supplies in my craft room.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
