Backpack Album - Celeste

Hello my crafty friends. My name is Celeste from www.touchedbyabutterfly.blogspot.com. I am so honored and happy to be sharing this post with you as part of Robert’s crafts design team member. I am so nervous. I will share a little about me. I am a stay at home mom of 3 wonderful children. I have the most wonderful and supportive fiancĂ©. I have been crafting since 2008. I love making anything with paper. Just recently have gotten into beading.  I hope you like the project I have done for you. Beware!! Lots of pictures.

For my Back to School project I made a mini album. The mini album is in the shape of a backpack. I really had fun making this book.

So how do you make this book? Well I used Digiorno's pizza box and cut the shape of the backpack with my Ecraft cutting machine. I cut 2 out of the cardboard and 2 out of cardstock. You would then use Mod Podge or your favorite adhesive to sandwich them together.

I them cut the inside pages for the mini book out of colored cardstock.

I used my Cinch to bind the book together. The one thing I so love about the cinch is that I am able to turn off the holes I don’t want to use. So I just lined by book up and decided where I want the wire rings to be.
The materials I used for this book can be found at www.robertscrafts.com.
Here is the list of materials I used.
DCWV Cardstock-School Days
Cinch
Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive
Zots Pop Dots
Recollections foam adhesive squares
Tulip puff paint
eCraft cutting machine
All of the cuts used to make this book are SVG Files from www.svgcuts.com.

I hope you enjoy my post for my very first DT post for Robert’s Crafts.

Thank you so much for visiting
