Fall Wreath - Nancy

Hi bloggers! Nancy here from ScrappingOutOfControl.  I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. California weather went from the high 90's to the mid 70's in less than a week! Fall is definitely here! For my project, I decided to make a wreath. I was planning to make it out of my kids hand prints but thought it would be ruined by the rain. So I decided to make it out of fabric.
I used styrofoam for the base of the wreath.

I used Autumn colored fabric which you can find  at Roberts Arts and Crafts.

Start by cutting strips of fabric approx, 8' by 1.5' inches.

Tie the strips on the wreath in any pattern you desire.

Continue to add the strips until your cover the wreath. I used some tulle to add some texture.

And there you have it! A very simple wreath for the holidays.

Here is a closer look at the finished project.

I hope this has inspired you to get crafty!
